Real estate in Salzburg Gnigl
Gnigl - the "little village" at the foot of the Gaisberg mountain
The Salzburg district of Gnigl is bordered to the east by the slopes of the Kühberg, a forerunner of Salzburg's Gaisberg, and the Heuberg, a foothill of the Salzkammergut mountains. Salzburg Gnigl is well connected to the public transport network and thus the center of Salzburg can also be reached very comfortably within a short time.
The infrastructure is really very excellent and covers every need. With a supermarket, a pharmacy, banks, a post office, gas stations, doctors, opticians, an organic farm store, a delicatessen, a village butcher, a health center and the ZIB shopping center, in the immediate vicinity, everything is offered to take care of everyday errands right on the doorstep.
Michael Denkstein is in Gnigl with water bottle
well equipped for the hike to the Heuberg
"In the northeast of Salzburg in Gnigl, surrounded by wonderfully beautiful nature, rises the 901 meter high foothills of the Salzkammergut mountains, the Salzburg Heuberg - which is certainly one of the most popular destinations in Salzburg. The Heubergstraße is virtually the 'entrance' to the hiking trail. From there, the very comfortable Heuberggrunde can also be tackled spontaneously and at any time, even quickly 'after work' as an after-work tour. Sporty shoes and a water bottle are sufficient as 'hiking equipment', because the well-deserved snack is taken care of by the inns on the Heuberg, such as the 'Schöne Aussicht' or the panorama restaurant 'DaxLueg'. My tip is definitely to 'climb' or 'take along' the Heuberg in the evening after work for sunset and treat yourself to a tapped refreshment there. The view of the city of Salzburg is just as impressive and atmospheric as the sunset itself. The comfortable path with just 310 meters of altitude young and old manage quickly and without problems. And those who don't want to walk - take the bike!"
"Since the 'Feierabend' was just the subject of my 'Heuberg Sunset Tip', I would also like to definitely recommend the Country Saloon as a quaint, small, fine, unique party location. There the 'Gnigler' meet for steaks, drinks and music - and let the tequila train run over their heads. Who longs for a nice evening in a sociable round with good food and a lot of fun, is there certainly in good hands," adds Michael Denkstein his Gnigl tip and knows as an enthusiastic cyclist also that Gnigl is also the ideal starting point for beautiful bike tours such as the Gaisberg round or the Rifer Spitz round - to name just a few.
In the direction of Gaisberg are also the Gnigler schools and kindergarten, directly at the generous Gnigler park and the church of Gnigl. In the immediate vicinity is the so-called Mösl, which invites you to go for a walk or a bike ride and where you find yourself surrounded by nature - despite the proximity to the center of Salzburg and also the center of Gnigl itself.
Gnigl is an ideal place to live, especially for families and sports and nature lovers who like to live close to the city.
